Words Take Center Stage at Our School’s Spelling Bee

The atmosphere was electric as students and teachers gathered in the school auditorium for the highly anticipated 2nd Annual Spelling Bee Contest. With eager participants from grades 7 and 8, the competition showcased the spelling skills of our talented students.

The event kicked off with an enthusiastic welcome by the two hosts Ms Träger and Mr MacPhail. Afterwards, participants confidently took the stage, spelling increasingly challenging words and phrases. After several intense rounds, the contest came down to a thrilling showdown between the top finalists Ryu Offermann (7f) and Ayla Ertik-Kashio (8b). Cheers erupted as the jury, consisting of senior students and two teachers, announced this year’s champion Ryu Offermann (7f).

We applaud all the participants for their hard work and dedication and look forward to another exciting contest next year.
